Standard Anode Hooks are made of 3/8" square stock to fit rods of 1-1/2" diameter or smaller. Hooks can be made to special order for larger rods, or of stock sizes other than 3/8" square if desired. When submerging the anode for full efficiency, it is advisable to use a Titanium threaded washer and rubber anode protector with the Titanium hook. The washer secures the Anode Bag to the hook, while the protector provides for more uniform corrosion of the anode.
While Anode Hooks usually carry not more than 30 amps, 3/8" square Titanium hooks will handle as much as 40 to 50 amps. The 3/8" square Titanium offers a negligible amount of electrical resistance.
Prices are determined by the length of the hook measured from the top underneath edge of the hook to the top edge of the thread. All anode hooks are made dimensionally true so that anodes will hang straight. Almost all of the above types of hooks can be shipped immediately from stock in lengths of 3" through 8".
